The observations clearly show that submitting multiple spaces updates the URL query string and activates a filter, confirming the input is not trimmed before submission.

Expected

The search should trim or ignore whitespace-only queries and display the default list of prompt cards.

Actual

The application treats whitespace as an active search query (?name=+++), activates a filter (Clear filters (1)), and displays an empty list with no prompt cards.

The prompt library works across navigation, search and prompt details, with no confirmed issues after the audit and a hand check.

Testing covered core user journeys across the prompt directory, including search behaviors with valid keywords, special characters, and non-matching queries, prompt preview dialogs, standalone details navigation, authentication modal validations, theme toggling, and site navigation across tools, documentation, and community sections.

One finding said a whitespace-only search empties the prompt list. A hand check in Chrome showed the list still displays, so the finding was withdrawn.

Overall, core browsing and modal interactions perform as expected, and addressing the whitespace input sanitation will ensure consistent search behavior across edge cases.
